How does the subscription work?
Catholic Prayer Companion is a subscription-based app. Once you download the app, you can choose a monthly or yearly plan to access daily personalized prayers and audio features.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — you can cancel directly in your App Store subscription settings before your next billing date to avoid future charges.

I reinstalled the app — do I lose my prayers?
No — your journal entries and subscription are tied to your Apple ID and will carry over when you reinstall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why isn’t my audio playing?
A: Make sure you’re on an active subscription plan (monthly or yearly). If you’ve already subscribed, go to Settings → Restore Purchases in the app.

Q: I’m seeing an error generating my prayer. What should I do?
A: Check that you’re online, then try again. If it persists, email us a screenshot along with your device model and iOS version.

Q: How long are the prayers?
A: Each prayer is about 450–600 words — long enough to guide you into a calm, prayerful space.

Troubleshooting Tips

No notifications?
Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → Catholic Prayer Companion → Allow Notifications.

App crashes on launch?

• Update to the latest iOS (requires iOS 16.0+).

• Force-quit and relaunch the app.

Audio won’t download?

• Check your Internet connection.

• In the app, navigate to the prayer and tap Play Audio again.
